DAQ Solutions LLC, doing business as DAQ Works ("we," "us," or "our"), develops and operates DAQ Works, a shop management and point-of-sale platform for automotive service businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when our platform is used by our client businesses and their customers, including through our SMS receipt delivery service.

DAQ Works offers an SMS receipt delivery feature used by our client businesses. When an end customer provides their phone number at check-in and consents to receive a digital receipt, our platform sends a text message containing a link to view the service receipt. Key details about this service:
Message Frequency: One text message per service visit containing a receipt link
Message Content: Each message includes the name of the servicing business and a link to view the receipt
No Marketing: The SMS receipt service is strictly transactional. Phone numbers collected through this service are never used for marketing or promotional messages
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS receipt delivery are used solely for that purpose. Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers will never be shared with, sold to, or used by third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.
If you provided your phone number at a DAQ Works client facility check-in, you consented to receive one SMS containing a link to your service receipt. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us.
Our SMS receipt delivery service is operated in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). We obtain express written consent before sending any text messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or service. Messages are transactional in nature and limited to one message per service visit. Recipients may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any message.
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA, effective July 1, 2024), Texas residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, as well as the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling. DAQ Solutions LLC does not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling. To exercise your rights under the TDPSA, contact us at support@daqworks.app. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Our platform uses encryption for data in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain service records on behalf of our client businesses, and comply with legal obligations. Digital receipt links remain accessible for 12 months after the date of service. End customers may request deletion of their personal information by contacting us or their servicing business directly.
